Dr. Michael A. Arata is an accomplished physician nationally respected for his work in Interventional Medicine. A graduate of UCSF School of Medicine Dr. Arata completed his four year residency at Duke University Medical Center. After completing an Interventional Radiology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Arata joined Hoag Hospital where he served as Director of Endovascular Therapy.

With a strong commitment to clinical practice, Dr. Arata left hospital based practice and started Southern California’s first free standing Interventional Medicine practice in 2005. This matured into Synergy Health Concepts, a multispecialty group practice, specializing in Interventional Medicine. He is one of Southern California’s most experienced Phlebologists and Interventional Oncologists with over 12 years of experience in advanced venous, and oncologic therapies.
